Welcome to Smugglers’ Cottage in Paternoster.
Tucked away in a quiet corner of the sleepy village of Paternoster and hidden behind drooping Bougainvilleas, you will find the Smugglers’ Cottage Bed and Breakfast. A multi level house, with beautiful courtyards, a swimming pool and only a few steps away from the beautiful Bekbaai beach.
With only 3 rooms, one of those a family room (suitable for a family of 4 with small children), Smugglers’ Cottage, offers affordable and unique accommodation to couples, families and even those travelling with their four legged children.
Our experienced staff, led by Ansu, will ensure that your stay in Paternoster and the Smugglers’ Cottage will be stress free, enjoyable and unforgettable. Spend your days walking along white beaches in search of a lost treasure or lounge by the pool and soak up the West Coast sun while listening to the waves crash beyond. Rinse of the salty sand in the en-suite rain showers, before leaving for a delectable supper at one of the many fine restaurants in the village.
A hearty breakfast is served from 08h30 in the kitchen, find a seat in one of the courtyards or the dining room table right there in the kitchen.
